I create realistic watercolors from any digital quality photo that you provide.  I hand paint each watercolor using only the highest quality lightfast professional pigments on 120–140 lb. 100% cotton or cotton-linen mat.  My mat comes exclusively from a mill in France that has been operating since 1492.  It is acid free, buffered, and sized with the highest quality gelatin.  I paint in a photorealistic style using meticulous detail and I hand sign and date each original work.  I can produce any reasonable size because I individually stretch and hand cut my own paper for each painting.  I have produced works as large as 36” x 48”, though more typically they are something like 12” x 14”. With proper care, my watercolors will last a century or more.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Below are some samples of custom portraiture that I have done for others.  I can composite several photos, edit the background of your photo, or introduce custom elements and nearly always do.  In fact, the backgrounds were altered in all of the photos below to be more attractive and compliment the foreground figures.  I can produce these in nearly any size from a digital photo.  A single-person 10" x 14" portrait runs about $300 with $50 per additional person. For a quote please send a digital photo to StillLifesMatter@hotmail.com and tell me what size you prefer for the finished work.
